The OG Flat Bat

The FlatBat OG (Original Gamer) is the world's first and only wood training flat bat designed to hit real baseballs and softballs, with no sting, while maintaining the look and feel of a traditional baseball bat. Featuring a flat hitting surface and a rounded back profile, it delivers the benefits of flat-bat training without sacrificing the familiar feel of swinging a regular bat.

Built as a 2-piece bat, the FlatBat OG combines a willow wood barrel with a separate engineered handle that uses rubber or cork infused cane wood slat construction to absorb shock, reduce vibration, and minimize hand sting while providing exceptional flex and feel during practice.

The OG FlatBat provides instant feedback on:

• Bat path and barrel control

• Launch angle

• Contact point

• Ball direction

• Staying on plane

• Rolling over too early

• Staying through the ball after contact

Because the flat surface exposes flaws in a swing immediately, players and coaches can quickly identify and correct mechanical issues that are often hidden when using a traditional round bat. This is why flat-bat training has become a trusted tool among professional instructors and even MLB players and coaches.

Most flat bats on the market today are limited to hitting foam or smush balls. The FlatBat OG changes that. Our design is engineered to hit real baseballs and softballs, allowing players to experience true ball flight, realistic feedback, and game-like training while still receiving all the benefits of flat-bat development.

Available in multiple lengths and weights for little kids starting out, little league, youth, travel, high school, college, and adult players.
